All Hail The Return of the Jello Pudding Pop!

Many months ago I found an online article claiming the return of the Jell-O Pudding Pop. Since that time I have searched the grocery store over looking for this elusive delicacy but to no avail. Until this past Saturday when a close friend of mine, who knew of my Pudding Pop obsession called to inform me that she had finally found them.

Well, today I went out and bought myself a box. I was half excited and half scared. With most things that were once discontinued and then re-introduced from my childhood I was afraid that the taste of the Pudding Pops would be different than I remember and thus a huge let down. To my surprise they taste exactly as they did before. Though the new ones are a bit smaller than the ones I grew up on but that’s a trade off that worth making.

So rejoice my friends! Go, buy Pudding Pops until your hearts are content and your stomach’s are aching! We must make sure they are still around for our kids to enjoy!

Ringtone Crazy!

So, last week I switched cell phone providers, from Verizon to Cingular. I had service with Verizon since 1999 and never had any problems until I moved to Cape a little over a year ago. I won’t go into details but after dealing with the problem for over a year my contract finally expired and I made the switch.

After extensive research I decided on the LG CU500 model phone. My past two phones have been LG and I really like their devices. This one is no different. It has great functionality, a nice big LCD screen and overall it seems to be a good phone. The only draw back is that it doesn’t have built in voice dial capabilities and I won’t pay $4 extra a month to use Cingular’s version. Anyway, the reason for this post is to rave about how much fun it is to create my own ringtones.

I simply love the USB interface provided on all the Cingular phones. I opted to buy my USB cable from a third party because it was much cheaper and it came with software to help edit/create ringtones as well as manage data, pictures and video on the phone. I’ve already filled up the phones built-in memory with ringtones. But not to worry last night I ordered a 2GB microSD card to help alleviate that problem.  With that much space I’ll be able to create a specific ringtone for every one of my contacts if feel so inclined.
