The Singing Doctors
For those who may not know I’m a huge fan of Scrubs. The episode that aired this past Thursday was the Scrubs Musical. It is by far my favorite episode of all time. I will go so far as to say that it was probably the half-hour episode on TV this season.
If you haven’t watched it, or any of Scurbs, I highly recommend that you do and soon. You are truly missing out on one of the funniest shows on TV.
In other news, once again I was let down by the weather man. No snow this past weekend. :(
Amber really liked it. I watched it with Chris and Amber last weekend after Battlestar. I thought it was so-so. The songs, I felt, weren’t especially good, and even worse, they weren’t very funny.
Scrubbs is frequently very funny, so I was disappointed.
Also, I’m just not very keen on JD lately. He’s become the Homer Simpson of the show: all type and not much character. If it weren’t for Turk, I’m not sure I would really like anyone on the show right now. Even Dr. Cox’s schtick feels old.
Please no jokes featuring the words “Dr. Cox”, “schtick”, and “feels”.
I agree that the songs weren’t funny but I thought they were exremely well done, both written and performed. Especially when you consider that it wasn’t done by a musical cast.
I agree that Dr. Cox hasn’t been the same since season five. Once he and JD were equals I don’t think they’ve really known what to do with him.
I know all the cast say they could be back for another season, as does Bill Lawerence but this really feels like the last season. I mean it would be really easy to put Kim and JD, Elliot and Keith together and have a nice tidy ending. I just can’t see how they’ll keep the show going once JD has a kid.
It’s all about the Guy Love.
