Superman Fights Carnage

In last nights dream me and my friend Pete, a.k.a Spider-man, were hanging out fighting some run of the mill thugs when Carnage attacked Spidey. Now I know how difficult it is for Spidey to beat Carnage so obviously I started helping. Knowing that my super powers would greatly help out. As I pulled Carnage off of Spidey he was in his symbiote blob form and it was like pulling stretchy jelly off of someone. Then Carnage began to attach himself to me. I knew that would be bad because he could possible take on some of my powers which would make him extremely hard to beat.

When I had finally gotten him pulled of me, I wadded him up in a ball was holding on to all of his tentacles to prevent him from re-attaching to me. I asked Spidey how we should handle him now and he said that he didn’t really know. I thought for a moment and decided that I should throw him into space. Thus eliminating the Carnage symbiote threat forever.

Sadly, my real like human side couldn’t believe that I could throw him into space and as I learned long ago, if I don’t believe I can do something in a dream then I can’t do it. So I wound up spinning my arm around as fast as I could and then letting go of Carnage to hurl him into space. I watched as he went up, didn’t quite break the atmosphere and then came back down to earth. The good part was he landed very far away from us so I figured we had at least taken care of him for now. About that time he came swinging back to where we were and tried to attack again. I repeated this throwing attempt several times but always with the same result. Finally I decided to fly up as far as I could and then throw. Again being limited by real life I could fly up as far as I wanted to so I found the highest rooftop, landed and threw him again. Still he came right back down where we were.

So I thought about it again and decided that we could freeze the symbiote he would be out of commission and then we could figure out a way to get him into space. So, holding on to him tightly I tried to find the coldest freezer I could find. Luckily I was now at a mall. I asked all of the food court restaurants until I found one that said their freezer held a steady temperature of nine degrees. I explained that I was carrying an alien that if not frozen could ultimately destroy humanity and I needed their freezer to stop him. (How Carnage could destroy humanity I’ll never know.)

So I went in to find the freezer. I had assumed I would find a big walk in freezer but instead it was a standard refrigerator freezer. I knew as long as it was cold enough that it would still work but when I opened it it was slightly warm. I checked the controls and it was set at medium so I lowered and closed the door waiting for it get colder. All this time the Carnage symbiote has be wiggling around in my hand/arm and I had to keep readjusting how I held him so he couldn’t escape. Finally I decided to put him in a sandwich sized zip top bag, put that inside a gallon sized zip top back, put that inside a plastic grocery bag, tie it off and throw it in the freezer. Trying to get a living goo inside a small zip bag was not easy but I finally accomplished it and threw him in the freezer.

Unfortunately I woke up before I could retrieve my frozen Carnage symbiote and figure out a way to launch him into space.

The Singing Doctors

For those who may not know I’m a huge fan of Scrubs.  The episode that aired this past Thursday was the Scrubs Musical.  It is by far my favorite episode of all time.  I will go so far as to say that it was probably the half-hour episode on TV this season.

If you haven’t watched it, or any of Scurbs, I highly recommend that you do and soon.  You are truly missing out on one of the funniest shows on TV.

In other news, once again I was let down by the weather man.  No snow this past weekend.  :(

Darth Vader says, “Let it Snow!”

Well it looks like we may finally get some snow this weekend.  Whoo-hoo!  We did have some a couple of days ago for about 2 or 3 hours but it didn’t even turn the ground white.  This time it looks like we’ll at least get a good snow shower or two and maybe a dusting on the ground.  I would be extremely surprised if we got more than a half an inch accumliation.

In other news, we finally posted “John Woo” Star Wars on YouTube.  So be sure to stop by and rate it and even leave a comment.

Dust Mites Must Die

So, after suffering from an almost constant runny nose for the last ten years or so, I finally went to see an allergist today. Turns out that I’m allergic to dust mites. Thankfully, that was the only thing I was allergic too. I was worried the tests would show a whole bunch of things and they’d say, “There really isn’t anything we can do for you.”

Now I just have to get a hypoallergenic cover for my bed and pillow, wash my sheets, dust and vacuum every week and hope that helps. It’s not very encouraging but they did also give me some nose spray which I have high hopes will do the trick.

Anyway, not much else to say. This wasn’t much either but I hadn’t posted in a while so I thought I’d throw something up. :)
